A Christian Church was organized in 1824 and erected a building on Rt. 7 near
Hatches Corners Rd. in 1848.

A Universalist Society was organized at Monroe Centre and built in 1853.

There were 2 churches at the State Line:
The Old Community Church which was located on the South West Corner of State
Line Rd. & Rt. 84, it no longer exists. The Methodist Parsonage is now built on this location.
The United Brethren Church was built in 1892 on the NorthWest Corner about where
the present bell tower now stands. In 1960 a new brick church was built. This church is still active
The United Brethren & Methodist Churches joined and it is now called the United Methodist
Church.

Clarks Corners Methodist Episopal Church was built in 1867.

The Hammond's Corners Ladies Aid was formed in 1880. It became inactive in 1960,
it was sold and torn down. They donated their bell to the Monroe United Methodist Church.

The Congregational Church was built on Church St. in Kelloggsville in 1832.
When it became inactive it was sold to the newly organized Nazarene Church in 1940. They worshipped there
until 1965 when a new brick church was built on Rt. 84 just Northeast of the Village. This church is still active. The old
church was torn down.

The Kelloggsville Methodist Church was built in 1850. With additions added in
later years and in 1951 a basement was put under it. This church is still active.

The newest church in the community, The Church of God, was built in 1977, North
of Rt. 84 on the West side of Rt. 7. This church is still active.
