NOTE: The single grave of "Hannah M. Kent, August 14, 1860" not in this cemetery is
located on a hill in a cow pasture on the S.E. Corner of Rt. 7 & Hatches Corners Rd. A Church once stood here.

The Reeds Corners Cemetery on Rt. 7 just South of Rt. 84 is in Monroe

The first death in Monroe Twp. was an infant child of Jonathan Harrington & wife
in 1805 or 06. The first death of an adult was Mrs. Cornelius Weidner in 1808 and her husband in 1809. They
were buried on Mr. Harrington's land in the East part of Kelloggsville. The North & South road, just
East of the Village now passes directly over these first graves.
